Newfoundland is

frisbee in the drifts.

This is the first snowy winter I've enjoyed. It's amazing what a difference not being pregnant makes to your general emotional state. Am I a terrible woman for not thinking being pregnant is the most wonderful time of your life?

I was so tired and sick and blue that I just didn't notice the beauty of last autumn and winter. Now I see it all through my own and through the rosy, wonder-filled eyes of my baby girl. Everything is so lovely!
