Okay, its the new millennium. The indoctrination of little girls into seeing their ultimate happiness as the result of marrying Ken should be over by now. But it is not as is evidenced by this 2006 Barbie commercial (don't you just love the classy glowing red ring)!
And while I'm on the topic of rings, I found this video disturbing.
